Testing IGK Overnight Hair Mask

I know what you're thinking, and yes, that is a hair mask in a spray bottle. IGK's overnight dry hair mask was this week's experiment. My hair is forever dry and breaking from damage, so I love me a good hydrating mask, but I hate the process of actually doing the mask. That being said, a spray-in mask with an extremely easy application process was super appealing, and right now, I have a ton of extra time to play around with new hair products. Plus, even if somehow one fucks up my hair, it's not like I'm going in public anytime soon. First things first, this shit smells soooo good. You just spray it in like hairspray on dry hair before bed, and that's literally it: no messy cream and no rinsing. The bond-building treatment is then released over time. The thing is this stuff is made out of a bunch of crazy chemicals I can't even pronounce (trimethylsiloxyamodimethicone, being one), which kind of scares me. But it's also made with silk extract, and it doesn't give my hair that nasty crunchy feel you get from a hairspray even though it seems like it would give you that. I have only used it three nights so far, but I can tell it's not as powerful as a traditional hair mask. If you want a light, short-term boost, then you need this for sure. I also am going to make sure I bring this along on my next getaway. My hair does feel a bit stronger, but it's ability to add smoothness and silkiness to my hair was way more noticeable. If you just don't have the time or energy to do a regular hair mask, but you suffer from dry and damaged hair, then you have to pick this up! Click the image above to buy it!
